The American Women's Group in Oman (AWG) is a
non-profit, non-political organization.
and associate memberships are available to women residents of Oman.
Across the world, branches of the American Women's Group (AWG) promote
friendship and goodwill. In 1975, Mimmi Wolle, the US
wife, brought 20 American women together, forming the nucleus of what
was to become the American Women's Group (AWG) in Oman. Five years
after its formation, membership was opened to all women residents in
objectives of the AWG are:
members to meet in fellowship
To exchange ideas and interests
To participate in cultural & social activities
To be of service to the community
To become acquainted with the customs and cultures of the local
environment in which we live
Opportunities to meet and socialize with other women of all
Participate in a range of events
Access to a network of people who are willing to help you settle into
your new surroundings Discounts
to numerous outlets on presentation of your membership card.
